What we collect when you visit or write to us, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 17 October 2026.
Who we are
deck.partners is run by its two partners, Gery and Sanda. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
For anything about your data, write to hello@deck.partners.
What we collect
When you write to us. The contact form asks for your name, email and message, and optionally your company, a link to your deck, your timing and what you need help with. We also keep the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link, so we know which page brought you.
When you book a call. After you send the form, the Cal.com booking calendar loads on the page so you can pick a time. Cal.com collects the details you enter there.
When you browse. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not run analytics, ads or tracking of any kind.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site and the form secure and free of spam (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- If we work together, to run the project and meet our accounting duties (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
Giving us your details is optional, but we cannot reply without an email address. We make no automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of providers who process data for us, under data processing terms:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, checks form submissions for spam (Turnstile) and delivers form messages to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail) hosts the inbox where your message arrives.
- Sanity stores the site content and serves its images.
- Cal.com handles call bookings, if you book one.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted. If we start working together, contracts and invoices are kept for as long as Romanian accounting law requires.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. If that ever changes, for example to measure visits, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@deck.partners and we will reply within a month.
If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or to the authority where you live.
